:(Update:)

So here I am!!
NOT DEAD! Or in the fetal position chanting "I'm gonna die, I'm Gonna Die!"
That is a pleaser to me!

So here is the update on what happened Monday (my first day of work).

I clocked in and was happy cause I got a very easy code to punch in:)
I sat around for about an hour doing nothing (getting paid while sitting) and waited for Callie - my manager - to get done with the owner who popped in for a surprise visit! So I have met the owner, district manager, all the general and assistant managers in the course of 1 week haha:)

Callie trained me - I really like Callie, she is really nice, has a mouth on her though haha - and we had a good time chatting and getting to know each other and getting oriented with the store.

Then we went on to the cash Register.... Dun da dah... (Scary noises) I was a bit intimidated really, and kinda freaked out!
It was electronic, it had a lot of buttons, and it was confusing. The majority of the buttons on there I have no idea what they do.

So I was learning and she took me through it with some test runs and then the people came in... She stood by me while I made there orders, made some few mistakes, almost panicked... okay I panicked a lot... all in all, I made only a few mistakes which is good cause it was only my first day and I was expecting more!

So around 7:45 Callie came up to me and told me that after this time on Mondays it gets incredibly slow, so she let me go home early!!!:)
I was so happy.

2nd Day:

Came in, punched in, and went to find Callie. Helped people with orders, cleaned tables, swept, and then went to finish training. Callie told me that I was going to close for training and I wasn't to happy about that. She was leaving at 7:00 for dinner and a movie with her sisters so I was left alone with Manny (another Manager) and three other people.

BTW: Three of the guys that work there are all in my age range (high school range) and are INCREDIBLY HOT. NOT FAIR.
I am hot and sweaty with an unflattering shirt on and I have to watch the hot stuff make food... so not fair...

So people come in, I make only a few mistakes and I am alone through most of the night. Like I said, only a couple of mistakes!! YAY!!

So we close and I have to say that I hope I don't have to do that every night cause it sucks!
I go in to clean the bathrooms and some punk thought it would be funny to PEE in THE GARBAGE CAN!!!

I hate PUNKS.

Okay well that was my day on the second day. Got home at like 11:30 and went to bed.

Last Minute Thoughts:
1. Tip big people!
2. Made $2.00 in tips last night:)
3. I like diet drinks, really you cant tell the difference if you don't have a real one in 5 weeks.
4. I don't care that aspartame kills, I really don't so don't try and sway me please. I'm gonna die anyways.
5. I love being happy and smiley to people in the customer line:)
6. I want a protein bar...
7. Sleep is seriously Gods way of giving us a break.
8. Sigh... Hot men and I have to be un-hot...
9. I love Chinese class cause I can show up twenty minutes late and she doesn't even notice.
10. I love my iPod and really I love the people I work with:) I am so glad that God gave me that chance!!! And I am getting to the point where I am comfortable and confident ant that's what I need to be at work:)

Love you all!!!

100th POST!!!

Yep! Ladies and Gentlemen! You are looking at the 100th post by yours truly!
Andie Prier:)

SO: Let me tell you about the current month and the past and the wonderful, terrifying, horrible, wonderful adventures I have been expended (is that the right word? I don't know, you tell me...).

Lets start with the latest: the infamous World Civ Project. Two literary pieces to read on WWII, two questionnaires about the literary pieces, an outline for a 5 page research paper, an actual 5 page research paper (NOT double spaced), a bibliography and last but not least a title page. About what you ask? What in the world would possess you to write such a thing? What was the paper about? Well... A comparison and contrast of Hitler and Stalin and WWII. And to the latter, BECAUSE I HAD TO!

I'm composed now...

Okay, now lets get to the other parts of my life that need light.

Last month I went to a board meeting to present a case to ask the Board of Legacy Preparatory Academy to let 11th Graders on the student list.
That actually went better than I thought it would. They didn't shoot me down right away (even though I kinda got the idea that they weren't thinking or planning on it).
So I did that.

Then I went on maintenance for my diet plan HCG. That was just pure fun right there!!!:) I actually got to eat normal food!!! I am eating normal food ahah:)

Then there came the hit and decision.

I'm staying at Bountiful High.

Yep. I am.

Due to some personal reasons (okay, Erica's coming to Bountiful!!!!:):):)) Yes! My best friend is coming to Bountiful High and I am so stoked!

Of course I miss my other friends at WX and am sad, truly upset that I wont be going to school with them next year. I really am mourning that. All the things that I wanted to do, went down the drain when I decided, but... this is in the best interest of me.

And that's what I needed to think of.
Where would I have the best time. And now that one of the best friends I have ever had decided to come to school with me, I want to go:). I am ECSTATIC!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO!!

And I am taking all the great classes that I can at Bountiful: Dance, Jewelry, Psychology and many many more!

Okay. Now on to the fun stuff:)

Thursday me and my mom were wondering about where I could get a job. So we went to Cafe Rio, TJ Maxx, Chuck-A-Rama, Taco Time, Subway... all were basically dead ends.
so we were going up Orchard and I think... "Costa Vida is right up here and its just like Cafe Rio... Why don't I apply there?" Low and behold we pull into the parking lot and guess what sign is on there window!? NOW HIRING.

I decided it was an sign!

So I walk up to the counter and ask,
"Are you guys hiring?" - with a smile on my face.
and the boss (Only known to me until after I applied) asks: "I don't know, were looking for a smiley, energetic, fun person to hire. Are you that kind of person?"
And I reply "I think I fit the bill!"

Right then and there they hand me the application. I fill it out, give it back and the Boss tells me to wait for the general manager. She gave me an informal interview. RIGHT THEN!
She talked a lot - I mean a lot a lot - the whole time I was smilin' away thinking that I could actually get this job and she is saying "This is a really good place to work and we want people to go out and talk to the customers and be smiling. Obviously that's not going to be a problem with you. We need out going people, like yourself..." Etc Etc.

So she tells me to come back the next day and bring my social security card to sign papers and get some paperwork done. Then right at the end, she says,
"Just between you and me, when my boss came to get me, he said, 'As far as I'm concerned, she's hired'."

COOL HU?!

So now Ladies and Gentlemen, I am an employee for Costa Vida!
I start this Monday and plan on writing about it:)

And last but not least, I am more than likely getting my license by the end of this next week, and by the end of this summer, I will have a car:)!

Okay, now that that is all out there, I am done.

Last Minute Thoughts:

1. I am at last a MEDIUM in shirts!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN A MEDIUM!
2. This summer is going to be crazy, filled with work, people, friends, boating, tanning and last but not least, losing the rest of the 40 pounds I have planned to lose in the first place:)
3. I really would like a protein bar right now.
4. I love the number 7.
5. I don't get the concept of alcohol... ask me about it in person and I'll tell you my views:)
6. How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days is a really good movie, I really like it:)
7. I cant wait to get married!
8. Kate Hudson is incredibly flat chested.
9. Annoying people Annoy me.
10. I look good in shorts!!! WOO HOOO!!!

Well Hope you all are having a great time with your lives, and hope to see you all soon!

Love,
Andie;)
