.:˚The Second Day of School˚:.

Okay, I had a WONDERFUL day today! OMG it was amazing! I found my classes and talked to my old friends and all that, but the best part of the day was lunch and the last period and then after school!
So for lunch me Syd, Kylee and Alicia and a few others that I don't know went to Wendy's and had a very fun time! I met Kylee's person Baily - I don't know how to spell his name. Yes his name - and he is a cutie!
Anyways so I got to class late but I don't really care, and it was Chinese. It was very interesting:) I had a very fun time. Ni Hao! :)
Then afterwards we went back to Wendy's because the first time we didn't get anything but frosties we were really pressed for time. So now we only went with Syd, Kylee and Alicia. And guess who showed up!!!?? Syds person Cubby - yes I know. Such.... unusual names:) - and I have to say that I like that boy too! They are very very very cute boys! I'm very happy for Syd and Kylee:)

Anyways today was very good and all I have to thank for it is everyone who prayed for me and my Heavenly Father. Thank you to all those that prayed for me:) I love you all!

Last Minute Thoughts:
1. High school boys are very cute:)
2. I love my friends.
3. Those who think that I am.... 'like I was' then they really don't know me.

.:The First Day:.

So my first day of High School was today!
I have to say that I was pretty much a nervous wreck. Sure I found my classes all right, and I made friends easily enough, but none of my close friends were there. I had to regroup and totally take it in stride. I missed my buddies! I miss all of my best friends at Legacy and the people that were my friends at Mueller. Everyone changed!
I was devastated when I didn't know what I was going to do for lunch, I was walking around and I finally found good girls that went to Mueller. I miss my people... :(
Its sad because I was apart of (what I personally think) the "Trinity" at Legacy. I was one of the most popular there. I always had a seat at the lunch table, I always had friends, and I always was thought of and respected.
That's all gone. I have to make my way up again, and the worst part is that most of the people at Bountiful High are very VERY shallow. Its very sad. There are good looking guys I'm sure, but none of them are in my classes.
I could name all of the people that I used to know, but they probably couldn't name me. And that is was generally matters here right?! ME?!!
Anyways, I hope that tomorrow goes better. Hope to see you all soon!

Pray for me:(

Last Minute Thoughts:
1. Not air conditioned high schools suck my butt!
2. Math at 3rd period sucks, its right before lunch and right after advisory... ugh...
3. People change, and hopefully for the better.
4. It helps no one when you cant remember what your class is.

~The Family Game~

So in our family, music obsession is a familiar trait. And dew to our amazing music talents, we decided that as a family we would pitch in our money and by the game Rock Band. And personally, its my favorite;).
The point of this game is to act like a band in real life. There are four spots: Drums, Guitar, Bass, and Microphone. Its one of the family's favorite pass times now. Even the parents join in! Mom likes to sing, dad likes to do drums and me and Seth fill in the rest. We switch out when we get tired of the same instrument. As a natural singer and wannabe bassist its a really fun game! Everyone of all ages can play and its great for hand-eye coordination.

So give a hand to the people who created it, because its a super fun and exciting game for parties, families, and get togethers:)

Last Minute Thoughts:
1. Summer has ended.... Bring on the boys and clothes:)
2. I feel bad for the less fortunate... but not that bad.
3. Everyone is a little bit racist, its just a fact.

Summer is officially over.... :{

Im extremely sad that summer is over..... I had so much fun this time! Its been by far one of my favorite summers of all time! I have done tons that I didnt even do last year. And next year will be even greater (I get to drive:-)). Anyways, I want to thank people that gave me a chance to have the fun I did. You know who you are:).
Oh and a little side note, I know that school starts on Monday, but the LPA kids went to school today, so great and wonderful resounding applause for sticking it out before anyone else in Davis County!
I love you guys and hope that I will keep the same friends I made last year and make brand new friends this year!
See you soon!

Sunday Talk

Here is my sunday talk that I will be speaking tomorrow. For those who dont get to hear it personally, I'm sorry. In my opinion, its one of my best. Please Enjoy it!

Be Of Good Cheer

Hello brothers and sisters.
Elder Marvin J. Ashton said “I have been strongly impressed to share some thoughts about the Lord’s invitation to “be of good cheer”—yes, to be of good cheer without fear. With world conditions of riots, protests, arms buildups, wars and rumors of war, mistrust, poverty, disappointments, terrorism, tragedies, etc., there has never been a period in history when there is a greater need to accept another of the Lord’s eternal promises.
“Behold, this is the promise of the Lord unto you, O ye my servants.
“Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come.” (D&C 68:5–6.)” 1986 May Ensign.

Of course no one can escape the tragedies that happen to us. No matter how good we are in life, it is just a part of what happens on earth. This means that we can take one of two roads when disaster strikes; Learning from the problem and appreciating what Heavenly father wants us to take from the dilemma, or brooding over it, harboring anger, and blaming everyone else including our Heavenly Father for what has happened.
But the first road isn’t the easiest one to take. In my opinion, its human nature to blame others, find scapegoats and make sure that everyone knows about it. And when we get angry, we don’t take actions that we would normally. And then we blame someone – whoever it may be - for those actions. Or better put by many 6 year olds, “But he made me!”
As Elder Marvin J. Ashton put it “If we can recall the Lord’s promise, “for I the Lord am with you,” we will be able to face our problems with dignity and courage. We will find the strength to be of good cheer instead of becoming resentful, critical, or defeated. We will be able to meet life’s unpleasant happenings with clear vision, strength, and power.”

Another well-spoken way of addressing this is said by Adhemar Damiani, “As part of our mortal probation, we pass through affliction, pain, and disappointment. Only in Jesus Christ can we find peace. He can help us to be of good cheer and to overcome all the challenges of this life. What does it mean to be of good cheer? It means having hope, not getting discouraged, not losing faith, and living life joyfully. “Men are, that they might have joy.” 2 It means facing life with confidence.” Liahona, May 2005.
To me this brings a whole new meaning to what we are taught every church meeting. Read our scriptures daily, pray, and go to church meetings. In these actions we can protect ourselves from the unpleasant problems we face, by filling our hearts and heads with Gods love, spirit and guidance.
Brothers and Sisters I know from experience that I’m happy when I live the gospel. And if we have the gospel in our life then we can follow the admonition of Brother Marley “Don’t worry about a ting. Every little ting is gonna be alright man”
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Song of The Day

The song that I have picked out for today has to do with the mood I am in. Of course it will always do that but sometimes I just want to flaunt my music and have you learn it! Hahhaha.
Okay... So let me warn you the first song that I have on here is a bit of a screamo song but only the very first sentence then it goes away. So turn down your speakers:). Anyhow, the song has to come from a recent experience that I have encountered. There was a person who didn't do what they said they would. And that really does piss me off.
Okay so the second song is just a song that really makes me feel something. Especially at the end and the song and the very middle.
Okay here you go!

Song of the Day:
'I'm So Sick' - Flyleaf
'Make Damn Sure' - Taking Back Sunday

Last Minute Thoughts:
1. When you say your gonna do something, do it.
2. Don't invite me ice skating with you, I have created and inflicted concussions to many times.
3. I love music! It makes life so much better!
4. Dancing will get all of you frustrations out there and help with muscle gain too:)
Love ya!

Song of The Day

Okay, so as I have said before, music is seriously my life.
I don't think I could live without it. When ever I am doing anything - yes even sleeping and showering - I have to have music playing. But that's not all! I sing to the music and dance uncontrollably! (I know, scary).
And one thing that has made it easier to get the songs I like is a program called Limewire. For those who know what it is, isn't it great?! Okay but confession: its not all that legal. Actually its quite illegal. And another down side is that if you don't have a mac or a very strong firewall, it gives you horrific viruses very fast.
Anyway back to the topic at hand; Music! So every day I will try and post my 'Song of The Day'. And if you haven't heard the song, I will definitely have it on my music player down at the bottom of the screen. You can go and look it up there. If indecision captures me I might have more than one:). Enjoy!

Song Of the Day:
'Wolf Like Me' - TV on the Radio

Last Minute Thoughts:
1. Viruses are YUCKY!
2. You can never gain weight from breakfast (and yes that is completely true!).
3. Water is absolutely my favorite drink.
4. Positive thinking is the fastest way to do anything! Just ask me and I will prove it;).

Love Ya!

∞§Overreaction§∞

Overreaction... its a curious word. Okay. So I have some explaining to do.
1. When I was complaining about Breaking Dawn earlier, I hadn't read the whole thing.
2. I still stand by what I said to the parts of the book that earned my harsh and critical judgement.
3. The rest of the book past the crap was actually pretty good.
True, I did bash Stephenie Meyer a bit, but in true reality, she does make me mad a bit.... Don't ask, I wont stop if I get started... ;)
Anyways, I publicly apologize for being a bit of a bear - in the literal sense of the word - in that last post.
I do think that half of the book is crap though. And I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
Who knows, I might change my mind one day, but don't hold your breath:).
Love ya!

Breaking Dawn. Crap.

Okay so your probably wondering why I'm posting a blog on the day that Breaking Dawn comes out. Well truth is that I hate the damn book. It is awful. Well in my opinion anyways  - no, its not just my opinion, it just plain sucks. Dont worry I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will say this, its more angst then romance and more than anything its annoying and has some of the biggest cliches that you could think of. BY FREAKING GOLLY I AM SO ANNOYED. Its probably the only reason im not reading the book at this very moment. Im just glad its the last one in the series cause im ready to throw the damn book out my window.
WHAT THE HELL STEPHENIE MEYER????!!!!
Okay, i've ranted. im done i guess... for now.
